To be successful as a Software Developer-API, you should have experience in Java programming, Spring Framework (especially Spring Boot), SQL and NoSQL Database, ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate), Build tools like Maven and Gradle, Junit, Mockito, Unit Testing, CICD pipelines, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, multithreading, collections, logging, monitoring, microservices, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required. Assessment may focus on critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills. This role is based in Pune. Purpose of the role: Design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Accountabilities include: - Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participating in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Staying informed of industry technology trends, contributing to technology communities, and adhering to secure coding practices. - Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
