What is OCI Developer and Observability Products team?

The OCI Developer and Observability Products Group is constructing a robust suite of products aimed at supporting and enhancing the developer experience and monitoring and operational capabilities of OCI services. This group provides a comprehensive set of tools and technologies to ensure efficient and effective management of OCI's operations.

By developing these products, the group aims to empower OCI services with the necessary resources to excel in their operational roles, ultimately contributing to the overall success and reliability of OCI's offerings. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for engineers with distributed systems experience. You should have experience with design of major features and launching them into production. Youve operated high-scale services and understand how to make them more resilient. You work on most projects and tasks independently. You have experience working with services that require you to abide by security, compliance and regulations.

The ideal candidate will own the software design and development for major components of Oracles Cloud Infrastructure. You should be both a rock-solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer within the OCI Developer and Observability Products Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of cutting-edge technology platform. This platform is designed to serve as a centralized hub for monitoring, revolutionizing the way OCI services are observed and managed. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.
