Software Automation Tester

The role:

• Embrace Agile development principles and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.
• Collaborate with the software development team to analyze requirements and define business requirements/acceptance criteria.
• Produce a comprehensive test matrix to guide testing efforts.
• Conduct thorough testing of both

  API and UI components

  to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Investigate and document the root cause of bugs, and provide clear steps to reproduce them for the development team.
• Utilize automation testing tools, such as

  Selenium,Xunit - API, SpecFlow, Katalon - UI

  ,or similar tools, to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools is a plus, enabling you to integrate testing seamlessly into the development pipeline.
• Contribute to Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Utilize your experience with

  SQL and MongoDB

  to conduct database testing and ensure data integrity.

The person:

• Solid understanding of Agile development principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in defining business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies,including the use of testing tools like Selenium, SpecFlow, Katalon, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify potential issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools is desirable.
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB for database testing purposes.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

• Knowledge in Kafka messaging interface

• Knowledge with Signal R , real time FE update - knowledge (good to have)

• Mobile Apps testing experiences (mandatory)

• CI/CD pipeline experience

• Docker containerization knowledge - for deployment of apps

• Octopus knowledge - for dev test and production
• Must have some exp and understanding of business logic and be able to relate to the dev scenerio

• API automation testing

  exp - BDD / Cucumber experience
• Coding - able to do some coding after test cases are created
• Able to deliver tests cases for each feature
• SDLC knowledge , Used Postman before - any API client is fine
• A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and thinks about the long-term impact of their contributions.
