Software as a Service Accounting Manager

You are being recruited by Kenvue for the role of Software as a Service (SaaS) Accounting Manager within the Finance Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the SaaS Accounting team, ensuring accurate recognition of expenses related to SaaS contracts and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. You will lead various activities such as financial analysis, data validation, documentation maintenance, and financial reporting to Senior Management. In addition to overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, you will monitor SaaS-related financial metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support audit activities. Your role will also involve staying updated on industry trends, accounting rules, and technological advancements. Compliance plays a crucial role in your responsibilities, requiring participation in audits, adherence to financial practices, risk management, and internal control implementation for SOX compliance. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential for fostering collaborative relationships, managing the SaaS Accounting team, providing mentorship, and supporting career development. Your role will involve up to 5% international travel. The minimum qualification required is a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with 6-8+ years of professional experience, thorough knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting, and at least 2 years of management experience. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in other languages is desirable.
