Software Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Software Architect with deep experience in Python and Cloud for an exciting and cutting edge stealth startup in Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities :

• Delivery owner: Independently drive e2e architecture, tech choices, low level design and implementations for complex problems, features, products by leveraging lean and agile practices. Responsible for complete engineering from arch design code devops test and automation.
• Hands-on coder: Execute on high quality production code implementations, and set the standard for team mates
• Decision maker: Decide on product architecture for a given performance & scale criteria, decide on technology for a given customer problem, decide on right hires for the team.
• Devise DevOps & Test Automation Architectures across product & tech stacks.
• Mentor: Set a high bar for teams on engineering excellence, and help raise the over level of work at Numino; Instill a data driven, mathematical & statistical mindset in developers & testers.
• Influence & drive product & release GTM strategy, phases & MVP definitions with clients
• Provide architectural guidance over multiple products, clients & concurrent releases
• Grow Numino Intellectual Property(IP): Define architectural patterns, design patterns, tech patterns, implementation (coding) patterns, training that can be reused across client product delivery

Requirements :

• Has prior experience & expertise on early stage products (2-3) to mature large client base, large data sets, and performance tuning & diagnostics in large scale environments: Tech stack: Java or Python
• 5+ years of experience on microservices and server less architecture implementations
• 5+ years of experience on AWS and/or Azure and PAAS and Server less cloud services
• Experience in DevOps/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Test Automation implementations
• Expertise on Big data technologies: NoSQL Dbs, messaging, caching, realtime and low latency processing systems
• Leadership skills: Loves people, Learns & teaches team members, backs & grows team members, makes decisions, delivers results & sets an all round example
• Interpersonal skills: Can connect with employees, clients, stakeholders with ease and effectively establish personal & competency trust
• Loves coding: A work ethic that honors every team member, function or depth of work, and ability to work across functions, teams and stakeholders.
• Drive for results: Drive release & projects all the way to final closure, and desire to build a sense of accomplishment and success in team members
• Agile Methodology & Continuous & Lean Principles: Does not get bogged down by detail or lack of it, and is able to take decisions with varied levels of available information
• SDLC Expertise: Source Code Management, Environment Pipeline & Versioning, Defect Prioritization & Resolution
