Pollachi Helping Hearts is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support our community welfare programs. The role involves identifying people in need, organizing outreach activities, assisting with healthcare and education support, and coordinating with volunteers and local organizations. Ideal candidates are compassionate, fluent in Tamil, and passionate about helping others.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field (MSW preferred).
• Prior experience in social service or NGO sector is an advantage.
• Fluency in Tamil and basic English communication.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within rural and semi-urban areas around Pollachi.
• Passionate about community service and grassroots change.
• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct community outreach to identify individuals and families in need.
• Assess social, emotional, and financial conditions of beneficiaries.
• Plan and implement welfare programs (health camps, education support, elderly care, etc.).
• Coordinate with hospitals, schools, NGOs, and local government for necessary support.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic reports.
• Provide counseling and crisis support when necessary.
• Mobilize and coordinate volunteers during events and drives.
• Promote awareness on health, hygiene, education, and rights through campaigns.
• Support fundraising and donation drives as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
