Key Responsibilities

Patient Services & Support Coordination

• Facilitate the admission and registration process of new child cancer patients under CanKids
• Assist families and doctors in planning treatments and estimating associated costs
• Act as a liaison between families and medical teams to ensure smooth communication
• Ensure timely provision of support services including medicines, TSPs, lodging, blood, and hygiene supplies
• Update patient treatment progress and support services in the patient database regularly

Chattai Clinic and Hospital Unit Coordination

• Assist in the daily operation of Chattai Clinics and CanKids hospital unit activities
• Coordinate with hospital authorities to ensure efficient functioning of the assigned CHSUs
• Oversee and support Parent Support Group (PSG) volunteers and patient-family engagement initiatives

Documentation & Data Management

• Maintain accurate documentation for new patients, including ID verification and case files
• Update patient records in systems such as PIS, MSF, and Salesforce
• Coordinate documentation processes for government schemes, donor grants, and external support services
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports for donors, hospital partners, and internal use

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

• Manage imprest funds for medicine procurement and ward-level requirements
• Administer assigned support programs including Jiv Daya and other donor-linked initiatives
• Ensure proper tracking and compliance of FCRA fund usage
• Work in coordination with the Program Officer and Medical Officer for smooth operational execution

Awareness & Community Engagement

• Conduct educational and awareness sessions on childhood cancer in hospitals and communities
• Promote the You Are Not Alone message to families and caregivers
• Participate in outreach programs, health camps, and advocacy activities to spread awareness
