Social Science Teacher

As a Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History, Geography, and Civics to students from Classes 6 to 8. You should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in interactive and activity-based learning. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, and Civics following curriculum guidelines. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to foster curiosity and critical thinking. - Design assignments, projects, and assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. - Utilize innovative teaching methods, such as audio-visual aids and experiential learning activities. - Maintain student records, monitor academic performance, and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events, and contribute to student development. - Instill values of citizenship, responsibility, and social awareness through teaching. - Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: - B.A. in History / Geography / Political Science (Social Sciences) with B.Ed. (mandatory) - M.A. with B.Ed. (preferred for higher expertise and experience) - Experience: - Prior teaching experience in middle school (Grades 6-8) preferred. - Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also apply. - Skills Required: - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. - Strong command over subject knowledge. - Ability to make lessons engaging and student-centered. - Proficiency in using technology for teaching (smart boards, presentations, e-learning tools). - Patience, empathy, and passion for teaching.
