Position Overview
Full-time teaching role focused on delivering Social Science (History, Geography, Economics, Political Science) to primary and secondary grades following CBSE curriculum framework.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans across Social Science topics.
Create a positive, interactive learning environment encouraging student participation.
Design and administer instructional materials such as notes, assignments, and assessments.
Track and evaluate student development, providing personalized feedback and support.
Support both in-class and experiential (outdoor) learning opportunities .
Qualifications & Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A./M.A. in Social Science, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics) plus B.Ed.
Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and teaching standards.
Minimum of ~1 year teaching experience preferred .
Skills & Attributes
Strong content knowledge in Social Science disciplines.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Patience, critical thinking, multitasking ability, and effective classroom management skills .
Team-oriented mindset for collaboration with colleagues.
Additional Requirements (based on general Orchids hiring trends)
