Social Science Teacher

The Social Science Teacher is responsible for teaching History, Geography, Civics/Political Science, and Economics to students of Classes VIII, IX, and X. The teacher must help students build conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and exam readiness while connecting classroom learning to real-world situations.

• Teach Social Science topics as per the curriculum for Classes VIII–X.
• Deliver engaging lessons using storytelling, maps, charts, real-life examples, and case studies.
• Foster classroom discussions to improve reasoning, analytical thinking, and civic awareness.
• Prepare yearly, monthly, and daily lesson plans aligned with the syllabus.
• Break down topics into student-friendly teaching segments.
• Design activities such as debates, role-plays, group discussions, and project-based learning.
• Ensure timely completion of syllabus with adequate revision sessions.

Help students develop skills in:

• Map reading
• Data interpretation
• Essay-type and short-answer writing
• Critical thinking
• Understanding social and political systems
• Bachelor’s degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics / Sociology or relevant field.
• B.Ed. in Social Science
• Master’s degree (preferred but not required).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
