About the role:

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team and help grow our online presence. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience by creating engaging content and building community across popular YouTube channels and established Instagram pages. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media trends, content creation, and understands what it takes to produce compelling content for each platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Content creation:
• Assist in brainstorming, planning, and scripting new content ideas for both YouTube videos and Instagram posts.
• Assist with on-site and remote video shoots, including coordination and setup.
• Content management:
• Manage and maintain the content calendars for Instagram and YouTube, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
• Write creative, engaging, and SEO-friendly captions, descriptions, and titles for all social media content.
• Optimize videos for YouTube by performing keyword research and updating tags and other metadata.
• Community engagement:
• Monitor social media channels and engage with the audience by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Help foster a positive and active community by actively engaging with followers and subscribers.
• Research:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging formats across Instagram and YouTube.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify content gaps and new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated
• Good understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and YouTube, including their unique features and best practices.
• Creative mindset with an eye for compelling visuals and engaging storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A portfolio showcasing creative content (Reels, Shorts, etc.) or personal social media handles is welcome.
