Social Media Strategist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Strategist at Experience Destination in Guwahati. The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media marketing strategies, creating engaging content, optimizing social media presence, managing public relations, and fostering communication with the target audience.

Thing you'll be doing:

• Researching to find relevant stories from Northeast India
  Maintaining SM calendar.
• Content ideation and execution, assist in production, script writing, shooting, managing the editor, captioning and strategising complete content plan and output.
• Optimise company pages on various platforms, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
• Collaborations with travel stakeholders (influencers, content creators, travel educators, local storytellers, chefs, property owners etc) that can help ED with content creation and increase its digital distribution.
• Stay upto date with trends in social media.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of various social media platforms and how to optimize content for maximum engagement.Our objective is to achieve exceptional customer engagement, foster intimacy, drive website traffic, and increase revenue through strategic utilization of the social media marketing roadmap.

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
• Knack for photography and videography.
• Comfortable with editing tools like VN, Canva and Reel editor.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of North-East India and its tourism industry is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze social media trends and metrics
