Social Media Manager

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Manage all client social media accounts.
  • Develop engaging, creative, and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts that enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
  • Coordinate social media messaging with SEM team, graphic designers, video editors, servicing team, etc., to ensure client and company's digital presence.
  • Audit and analyze social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns.
  • Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain social media reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.
  • Monitor and generate reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
  • Suggest creative strategies based on current marketing trends and competitive analysis.
  • Ensure no mistakes are made on clients accounts and no posts are missed.
  • Cover live events (even on holidays) if requested by clients.
  • Stay proactive about new trends daily and align content accordingly.
  • Handle influencer marketing for assigned brands.
  • Create and maintain content banks.
  • Prepare research documents and social media strategy documents and share them with clients monthly.

Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager with 23 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in content management, community engagement, and social media analytics.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and social media trends.
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
