Social Media Management Intern

About The Opportunity

• Create and publish platform-optimised social content (posts, carousels, short videos, stories) aligned to content calendar and brand voice.
• Support daily community management: respond to comments/DMs, moderate conversations, and escalate relevant leads/queries to the team.
• Help plan and execute small social campaigns and experiments (A/B creatives, hashtag tests, time-based posts) to boost engagement and reach.
• Track core social metrics and prepare weekly analytics summaries with actionable recommendations for growth and engagement.
• Design quick visuals and short-form videos using Canva or equivalent tools; deliver platform-ready assets for reels/shorts.
• Collaborate with marketing, content and recruitment teams to repurpose blog posts, job highlights and success stories into social formats.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Current student or recent graduate (any discipline) with demonstrable interest in digital/social media marketing.
• Strong written communication and creative copywriting for social channels in English.
• Hands-on familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and at least one short-video platform (TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts).
• Basic visual design skills using Canva or similar; ability to produce clean, on-brand assets quickly.
• Analytical mindset: able to read platform insights, summarise metrics and suggest optimisations.
• Reliable remote-work setup in India and ability to collaborate in asynchronous teams (Slack/Google Workspace).
  

Preferred

• Prior internship or freelance work in social media or content creation with portfolio links.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) and basic video-editing apps.
• Familiarity with SEO for social, hashtag strategy and basic Google Analytics reporting.
