Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  
• 2-3 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in

  news publishing

  or

  advertising agency

  environments.
• Strong communication skills in Marathi language, written and verbal.
  
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  
• Familiarity with digital publishing, breaking news formats, and fast-paced content cycles.
  
• Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design/video editing software is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives and campaigns.
  
• Keep up with social media trends, emerging tools, and competitor activities.
  
• Ideate, draft, and publish engaging content including posts, videos, reels, and stories.
  
• Coordinate with design, editorial, and marketing teams for campaigns.
  
• Ensure content tone, style, and quality align with brand guidelines.
  
• Monitor and respond to audience interactions, comments, and queries in a timely manner.
  
• Build and nurture online communities around the brand.
  
• Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, followers, CTR, and conversions.
  
• Prepare monthly performance reports and recommend improvements.
  
• Use tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar.
  
• Assist in planning and executing paid campaigns across platforms.
  
• Optimize ads for maximum reach, engagement, and ROI.
