Social Media Content Assistant (Instagram – Buddhist Content)

Full-Time • Remote (India) • Night Shift

We are looking for a dedicated, creative Social Media Content Assistant to support our Buddhist-themed Instagram page. This is a full-time, work-from-home position for candidates based in India who are comfortable working night shift hours aligned with US Pacific Time (1 PM – 9 PM PST → 1 AM – 9 AM IST).

This role requires strong English communication, consistent availability, and the ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.

• 1 AM – 9 AM IST (aligned with 1 PM – 9 PM US Pacific Time)
• 5–6 days per week (flexible schedule discussed at hiring)

You must be awake, alert, and available during these hours.

To ensure productivity and communication:

• You must be willing to stream your working hours on camera (screen + face is acceptable).
• You must be available for calls, voice notes, and check-ins during shift hours.

This is a standard requirement for remote creative teams.

All content is Buddhist-inspired (wisdom, philosophy, quotes, compassion messaging, etc.).

Knowledge of Buddhism — or personal Buddhist practice — is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create Instagram Reels, posts, and stories (Buddhist/spiritual theme).
• Edit videos and images using tools like CapCut, Canva, etc.
• Help execute creative ideas and visual storytelling.
• Write English captions and basic copywriting.
• Assist with posting, scheduling, and hashtag research.
• Support social media growth and organic marketing.
• Communicate clearly with the team during US work hours.

Required Skills & Qualities

• Good command of written and spoken English
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills
• Ability to learn creative tools quickly
• Artistic sense, visual creativity, and good design taste
• Understanding of Instagram trends
• Reliable, disciplined, and consistent work habits
• Comfortable with night-shift hours
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

Preferred (Not Required)

• Familiarity with Buddhism or spiritual content
• Experience creating content for IG, TikTok, or YouTube
• Basic marketing or branding knowledge

Equipment Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A desk workspace
• A reliable computer or laptop capable of video editing
• Stable high-speed internet
• A smartphone (for Instagram work)
• A quiet place to work during night hours
