About the Role

Social Media Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, etc.) across platforms such as

    Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

    .
  • Use analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and audience behavior.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve content strategies and paid campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to align social media performance with business goals.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and audience sentiment to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and presentations.
  • Manage social listening and reputation monitoring efforts.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives and optimize ad targeting, timing, and content formats.
  • Stay up to date with platform algorithm changes, new features, and emerging best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in

    Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Business Administration

    , or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in

    social media analysis

    ,

    digital marketing

    , or

    data analytics

    .
  • Proficiency with social media analytics and management tools such as

    Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Brandwatch

  • Strong understanding of

    KPIs

    for organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Experience with

    social ad performance tracking

    and

    conversion optimization

    .
  • Advanced

    Excel

    or

    Google Sheets

    skills for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of

    SEO

    content strategy

    digital marketing funnels

  • Familiarity with

    data visualization tools

    (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
