Social Impact Executives

Designation: Social Impact Executive:

The candidate will be at the forefront of our mission to empower individuals with disabilities and promote inclusivity in workplaces and educational institutions. The role involves social work, partner projects and placement services for persons with disabilities.

1. Social Work: Candidates will organize events and workshops focusing on key issues related to the workplace inclusion of persons with disabilities. The candidates will work closely with NGOs in Madurai, connect them with subject matter experts, and improve their capacity.

2. Partner Projects: Candidates will collaborate with our partner projects aimed at improving the lives of Persons with Disabilities. We work with Cheshire Homes Madurai, and Dextroware Chennai

3. Placement Services: We are official vendors for companies like Infosys, Accenture, and Amazon, supplying persons with disabilities across India. The candidate will connect with companies to identify job opportunities, and secure jobs for PwDs.

Responsibilities:

1. Improve the quality of special schools through training, assistance and resource building activities.

2. Coordinate and Collaborate with Companies, Colleges, NGOs, and government institutions.

3. Organize events and workshops that foster inclusivity.

4. Create more local and national level job opportunities for PwDs.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Master’s degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Human Resources, Disability Studies).

2. Experience/ passion for networking, relationship building, recruitment, preferably in the social sector.

3. Passion for social inclusion and empowerment of marginalized communities.

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.

6. Counselling and Report writing skills.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

8. Willingness to travel for outreach activities and engagement with stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
