SOC Admin - Network Security L2

Role Overview: As a skilled SOC Admin Network Security L2, your primary responsibility will be to protect the network and systems by managing firewalls, reviewing security alerts, and ensuring a safe environment. Your collaboration with the security team is essential to maintain a strong, secure, and trusted network. Key Responsibilities: - Firewall Configuration & Management - Configure firewall rules, policies, and access controls. - Work with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewalls. - Ensure firewall setups adhere to company security standards. - Network Segmentation - Plan and establish secure network zones. - Ensure secure communication between different network areas. - Threat Prevention & Detection - Monitor security logs for risks and suspicious activities. - Analyze alerts and respond to security incidents. - Vulnerability Management - Identify firewall and network weaknesses. - Conduct regular audits and update systems to eliminate risks. - Compliance & Governance - Adhere to standards such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA. - Maintain documentation for firewall and security procedures. - Troubleshooting & Support - Resolve firewall and network security issues. - Provide L2 support to teams when required. Qualifications Required: - Education: BE / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / BSc in IT or Computer Science - Certifications: CCNA, CEH - Technical Skills: - 4+ years of experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet firewalls - 3+ years of experience with WAF: Radware or F5 - Preferred experience with API Security: Ammune - Experience with DDoS Protection: Akamai or Arbor - Strong understanding of logs, alerts, and incident response - Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices Additional Company Details (if present): You will have the opportunity to work with advanced security tools and real-world threats, enhancing your skills through continuous learning and hands-on experience.
