Snowflake Developer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Snowflake databases for data warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality database designs.
• Develop complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure data security by implementing access controls, encryption, and backup procedures.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technical guidance on database design and implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.

Job Requirements :

• Strong understanding of SQL programming language and its applications in query optimization.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Data Build Tool (Dbt) is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems is beneficial.
