Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using
Snowflake
.
Write complex
SQL queries
for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Optimize performance of Snowflake data models and queries.
Implement data warehouse solutions and integrate data from multiple sources.
Create and manage Snowflake objects such as
tables, views, schemas, stages, and file formats
.
Monitor and manage Snowflake
compute resources
and
storage usage
.
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all layers.
Participate in code reviews and follow Snowflake best practices.

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.
Strong hands-on experience with
Snowflake
cloud data platform.
Hands-on experience with
Matillion ETL
Expert-level knowledge of
SQL
(joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
Proficient in data modeling and warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization, etc.).
Experience with
ETL tools
(e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or custom scripts).
Experience with cloud platforms like
AWS
,
Azure
, or
GCP
.
Familiarity with
version control tools
(e.g., Git).
Good understanding of
data governance
and
data security
best practices.
