Snowflake Developer

As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining DBT models based on client requirements. Your strong SQL skills in window functions, CTEs, unions, DDL, and optimization techniques will be essential for this role. Collaboration with data analysts, engineers, and business analysts to understand data needs is a key aspect of your job. Implementing data quality checks and automating testing using DBT will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Strong SQL skills in window functions, CTEs, unions, DDL, and optimization techniques. - Create and maintain DBT models in staging, intermediate, and data marts layers. - Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business analysts to understand data needs. - Implement data quality checks and automate testing using DBT. - Proficient in DBT (SCD type 1, type 2 concepts, incremental load, historical load, surrogate keys). - Good knowledge in Snowflake concepts (Sequences, Time travel, Debugging the scripts). - Good Communication skill and consistently meet deadlines. Qualifications Required: - Real-time experience in creating and maintaining models, snapshots in DBT. - Experience with Azure DevOps, Command-D, Python are added advantages. - Ability to understand requirements, develop models, interpret logics, debug models, unit test, and implement functionality.
