As a Snowflake Developer at EY-Advisory - Data and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Snowflake-based data warehouses, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Your expertise in Snowflake, proficiency in SQL and Python scripting, familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, and understanding of database management principles will be essential for success in this role. **Role Overview:** You will be part of the EY-GDS D&A team, focusing on helping clients solve complex business challenges using data and technology in sectors like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Supply Chain, and Finance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouses - Develop and optimize SnowProcs, SnowSQL scripts, and advanced Snowflake features - Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation - Tune queries, manage compute resources, and optimize storage for cost and speed - Use Python and SQL for data engineering tasks and automation - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience with Snowflake DW, SnowSQL, and stored procedures - Proficiency in SQL and basic Python scripting - Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and frameworks like Airflow - Understanding of schema design and relational database principles As a preferred qualification, having Snowflake SnowPro Core certification, exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and possessing strong analytical and communication skills would be beneficial.
