Job Description

Must have:

Good data pipeline design and development experience: coding, troubleshooting, problem-solving, etc.
Create dbt models (including incremental) in production environment for at least a year
Jinja templating for SQL models / macros
Test scripts for dbt code: built-in dbt tests, and custom-built tests
Version control with Git: peer-reviewed pull request process; experience with feature branches
Strong SQL and data profiling skills
Self-initiated with very good communication skills

Good to have:

Code linting
Advanced dbt knowledge
Leveraging dbt artifact files and internal variables such as graph
MetricFlow
Multi-repo or Mesh with dbt
Complex macros that leverage run_query
Dbt Cloud features
Experience with docs / Explorer documentation
Dbt Cloud CLI
Orchestration
Python
git flow workflows
Troubleshooting pipeline errors caused by dbt code
Pipeline familiarity (CI/CD)
