We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team at Barclaycard Payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Snowflake.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust testing and validation procedures.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on Snowflake best practices.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and data modeling concepts.
Experience with data ingestion tools such as AWS Glue or similar technologies.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
