Your expertise in Snowflake administration, DevOps, and Python programming will be crucial for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Snowflake Administration:** Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the Snowflake environment, which includes overseeing warehouses, databases, and user access. - **Cost Administration:** You will also be tasked with monitoring and managing the costs associated with Snowflake usage to optimize resource allocation. - **Provisioning:** Your duties will involve provisioning databases, warehouses, and other Snowflake resources as required to support business operations. - **Network Policies:** Configuring and managing network policies to ensure secure access to Snowflake resources will be part of your daily tasks. - **RBAC:** Implementing and managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) will be essential to maintain proper access controls within the Snowflake environment. - **AWS Integration:** Integrate Snowflake with various AWS objects such as S3, Lambda, and API Gateway to enhance the functionality and usability of the Snowflake platform. - **Cortex AI Integration:** Collaborate to integrate Snowflake with Cortex AI for advanced analytics and insights. - **MSK Integration:** Integrate Snowflake with MSK, with a mandatory requirement for this integration to be implemented. - **Python Scripting:** Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate administrative tasks within the Snowflake environment efficiently. **Requirements:** - **Snowflake Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake administration. - **DevOps Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in DevOps practices to streamline operations. - **AWS Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience working with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and API Gateway. - **Strong Understanding of RBAC:** Demonstrated expertise and understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts. - **Strong Python Programming Skills:** Proficiency in Python programming is a must-have skill for this role. **Nice to Have:** - **Experience with Cortex AI:** Prior experience with Cortex AI integration with Snowflake will be advantageous. - **Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse:** Familiarity with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modeling and performance optimization, is a plus. - **Experience with AWS CloudFormation:** Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation, including template development and stack management, will be beneficial. - **Snowflake Administrator Certification:** Possession of the Snowflake Administrator certification is highly preferred to demonstrate your expertise in this field.,
