Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM company, where humans and agents collaborate to achieve customer success. As a part of the Public Cloud engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in innovating and maintaining a large-scale distributed systems engineering platform. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems that run across thousands of compute nodes in multiple data centers. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba - Design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems across multiple data centers - Use and contribute to open-source technology such as Kubernetes, Argo, etc. - Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform - Write microservices on containerization frameworks like Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos - Resolve complex technical issues to improve system availability, resilience, and performance - Participate in the on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and maintain highly available services Qualifications Required: - Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Spinnaker - Deep knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby - Working experience with Falcon - Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service - Familiarity with Agile development methodology and Test Driven Development - Experience with critical infrastructure services including monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications - Public Cloud experience is preferred Additional Details: Salesforce and Google Cloud have partnered to revolutionize customer relationship management through advanced AI integration.
