Job Description

Smart TV Applications Architect
Location - Bangalore

Domain expertise in architecting and developing smart TV media applications.

Proficiency in major TV operating systems, specifically Samsung Tizen and LG webOS.

Strong understanding of performance solutioning for applications, including optimizing for speed, reliability, and scale.

Experience in the OTT (Over The Top) / Streaming applications domain, with a deep understanding of streaming protocols, video delivery, and content management.

Familiarity with Smart TV SDKs and ability to leverage them for application development.

Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related technologies for Smart TV application development.

Knowledge of React Native for hybrid app development.

Understanding of content delivery networks (CDNs) and their role in streaming applications.

Experience with video encoding formats and DRM (Digital Rights Management) solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software systems.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
