Job Title: Project Manager Location: Pune Department: Project Management Reports To: CTO Experience Required: 10 years in R&D Embedded Systems Project Management, preferably in electronics, IoT, security systems, or networking products. Visit: www.vighnaharta.in Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D, product development, sales enablement, and customer requirements. The role demands leadership in managing technology-driven projects, aligning product development with customer needs, and ensuring timely execution and market readiness. Key Responsibilities: 1. R&D. Embedded Systems Project Execution & Management Plan, execute, monitor, and close embedded systems development projects as per timelines, cost, and quality standards. Develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors. 2. R&D Oversight Liaise with R&D teams to guide the development of innovative and market-relevant products. Track progress on prototypes, certifications, compliance, and testing. Evaluate and approve project milestones for product development. 3. Sales & Customer Alignment Understand sales targets and align product timelines to support achievement. Gather and prioritize customer requirements in coordination with Sales and Service teams. Provide technical support to Sales during product demos and proposal phases. 4. Product & Technical Review Conduct product performance reviews and market benchmarking. Recommend improvements based on technical insights and customer feedback. Ensure proper documentation, training materials, and release notes. 5. Leadership & Team Management Lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Sales, Quality, and Service. Mentor junior team members and foster a results-oriented culture. Drive accountability and proactive communication. 6. Networking & IoT Products Understand and manage projects involving networking devices, IoT sensors, and embedded systems. Oversee integration with cloud platforms and mobile applications. Ensure cybersecurity and data integrity standards are followed. Key Requirements: Education: B.E/ B. Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or related fields. PMP or Prince2 Certification is a plus. Experience: 10 years of R&D, Embedded Systems project management experience, preferably in product-based companies. Proven track record of managing hardware/software/IoT projects. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Electronic Products Networking, Security, Safety Products preferred Knowledge of embedded systems, networking protocols, and cloud-based IoT platforms. Familiar with product development lifecycle, ISO standards, and technical documentation. Hardware/Firmware and Embedded Electronic Product Lifecycle management experience is required. Use of Project Management Software like Zoho Projects, MS Projects etc. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving ability and customer focus.
