Slitting Operator

As a Slitting Operator at Sprinpak Manufacturing LLP, your role will involve operating the Slitting Machine to ensure precise cutting of jumbo rolls into smaller rolls according to job specifications. Your responsibilities will include: - Operating Slitting Machine: Setting up and running the machine to cut materials accurately in terms of width and alignment. - Quality Control: Inspecting materials for defects like uneven cuts, wrinkles, or tears during and after the slitting process to maintain quality standards. - Material Handling & Documentation: Safely loading and unloading rolls, labeling finished goods accurately, and maintaining production logs, wastage records, and shift reports. - Maintenance & Safety: Performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks on the machine while strictly adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in operating slitting machines. - Knowledge of quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to handle material safely and accurately document production activities.
