Role Overview We're looking for a proactive, driven, and sharp Business Development Executive to help grow our client base and fuel Slashon’s expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the creative/digital marketing landscape and a knack for building meaningful business relationships across industries. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Strategic Analysis Conduct in-depth research on potential clients and their industry positioning Identify whitespace and areas where Slashon can add unique value with our creative and digital offerings. Evaluate competitor activities and past campaign performances to derive actionable insights. Lead Generation & Sales Execution Generate qualified leads via LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals, and networking. Own the top-of-the-funnel sales process — prospecting, outreach, discovery, and qualification. Develop and execute a monthly lead acquisition plan with specific KPIs (to be discussed in the interview call). Maintain and update CRM with lead progress and status. Client Relationship & Onboarding Nurture existing leads and build long-term relationships that convert. Facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients with internal teams (creative, strategy, design, performance, etc.). Pitching & Proposal Crafting Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored pitch decks and creative proposals. Present Slashon’s value proposition clearly and convincingly in meetings and calls. Ensure timely follow-ups and end-to-end ownership from first conversation to deal closure. Monthly Targets (to be refined and confirmed during the interview): Move 25–30 qualified leads into the proposal stage. Convert at least 3 leads into retainer-based engagements. Close 2–3 project-based deals per month. Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup, managing lead pipelines, maintaining detailed records, and achieving consistent business development goals. Specific KPIs, timelines, and growth expectations will be clearly discussed and finalized during the interview meeting. Skills & Requirements 1–2 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or sales in the creative, digital, or marketing industry. Experience generating and acquiring leads across multiple industries such as FMCG, wellness, tech, education, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail in proposals and decks. Proficiency in outreach tools, techniques, and lead generation magnets. (A must) Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem – social media, branding, paid marketing, content, and design services.
