SITECORE Consultant

As a .NET Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing features in .NET custom applications and .NET components of Sitecore based on feature specifications and technical designs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to creating feature specifications and technical design schematics. - Participating in requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, developing use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications. - Creating database models and building out models using SQL Server, then surfacing data to user interfaces using object-oriented techniques. - Developing web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, specifically jQuery. - Implementing web user interface server-side functionality using ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET MVC. - Taking ownership of feature-focused unit and system testing, as well as facilitating acceptance testing procedures and monitoring results. - Contributing to performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation. In order to succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Experience with Sitecore 8 and 9. - Experience in Sitecore extension development. - Successful implementation of major Sitecore upgrades, especially to Sitecore 9.1. - Certification as a Sitecore developer is preferred. - Good understanding of OOP concepts and industry standards. - Good understanding of design patterns and coding architectures. - Experience in third-party Sitecore integrations via Sitecore xConnect is preferred.
