Site Supervisor

Position Overview

The Electrical Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities. This role ensures that work is completed on schedule, meets quality and safety standards, and complies with project specifications and electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise daily electrical installation work, including wiring, panels, lighting, fixtures, and equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and workers to ensure timely task execution.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and project specifications.

2. Quality Control

• Ensure that all electrical work meets industry standards, project requirements, and compliance norms.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify defects and ensure corrective measures.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure the use of proper PPE.
• Ensure work complies with relevant electrical codes and statutory regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the team.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit documentation.
• Plan resource allocation—manpower, tools, and materials.

5. Material & Resource Management

• Monitor material usage and raise requisitions for required items.
• Manage inventory of electrical consumables, tools, and equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical site supervision.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and codes.
• Ability to manage teams and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of safety management and electrical standards (e.g., IEC/IS standards).
• Certification in safety (e.g., OSHA) is an advantage.

Work Environment

• On-site role with daily field supervision.
• May require extended hours depending on project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
