Site Supervisor for Interior Sites

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

• Supervise and monitor all interior works at the site to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure the smooth functioning of site operations.
• Ensure all work is carried out as per design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Act as a liaison between the design team, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Coordinate with subcontractors (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc.) to ensure timely and quality execution.
• Communicate design changes or instructions clearly to the site workers.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all work is carried out to high standards of quality.
• Conduct regular quality checks for finishes, materials, and workmanship.
• Identify and report defects, and ensure timely rectification.

4. Material Management

• Monitor the delivery and use of materials on site.
• Maintain stock levels and prevent material wastage or theft.
• Raise material requisitions in advance based on project needs.

5. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track work progress as per the project schedule.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update the project manager or client.
• Report delays, issues, or bottlenecks promptly and suggest possible solutions.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure the site adheres to safety regulations and best practices.
• Monitor workers' adherence to safety guidelines and use of PPE.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

7. Drawing & Document Handling

• Read and interpret architectural and interior drawings accurately.
• Ensure the latest drawings are being followed at the site.
• Maintain site documentation, such as site instructions, daily logs, and inspection reports.

8. Vendor & Labor Management

• Supervise skilled and unskilled labor and ensure proper allocation of tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party contractors for specialized installations (false ceiling, modular furniture, glass, etc.).
• Verify labor attendance and report to HR/Admin.

9. Snagging and Handover

• Conduct snagging and ensure rectifications before handover.
• Assist in the final handover of the project to the client, including walkthroughs and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in site supervision for interior projects (residential/commercial).
• Ability to read technical drawings and implement them on-site.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
