Role & responsibilities

As the Site Supervisor, you will be the pivotal hands-on leader and the driving force behind the on-site success of our factory interior and MEP projects. You are the eyes and ears on the ground, responsible for translating project plans into reality with a relentless focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Your role is critical in ensuring that daily operations align perfectly with project specifications and timelines.

Your core responsibilities will encompass:

  • Operational Excellence & On-Site Leadership:

    • Take full ownership of the daily on-site execution, leading and directing the workforce for all interior fit-outs, MEP installations, HVAC, utilities, and networking works.
    • Proactively plan and sequence daily activities with contractors and subcontractors to optimize productivity and meet short-term milestones.
    • Monitor workforce performance, effectively allocate resources (labor and equipment), and ensure that teams are working efficiently and cohesively.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance:

    • Serve as the primary guardian of quality on site. Conduct rigorous first-level checks on all works to ensure they strictly adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and industry best practices.
    • Enforce a zero-compromise safety culture by ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow statutory regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
    • Immediately identify, document, and coordinate the resolution of any site issues, deviations from the plan, or non-conformities.
  • Stakeholder & Resource Coordination:

    • Act as the central communication hub on-site, liaising constantly with the Project Manager, engineers, consultants, and various contractors to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
    • Lead and facilitate daily site coordination meetings to discuss progress, address bottlenecks, and plan for upcoming tasks.
    • Manage the timely delivery of materials by coordinating with vendors, ensuring proper handling, storage, and usage on site to prevent damage or shortages.
  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain meticulous and accurate site records, including daily progress reports, work diaries, and photographic documentation of key stages and issues.
    • Provide comprehensive daily and weekly updates to the Project Manager, detailing progress made, man-hours deployed, material consumption, and any challenges or potential delays.

Preferred candidate profile

We are searching for a highly capable and detail-obsessed Site Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a proven ability to manage the complexities of an active industrial construction site, ensuring that quality and safety are never compromised.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of

      3-7 years of on-site supervisory experience

      , with at least

      2-3 years dedicated to industrial/factory projects

      .
    • Demonstrable, hands-on experience in supervising a wide range of trades, specifically

      Factory Interiors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, Utilities, and Electrical & Networking installations.

    • Proven track record of effectively managing and coordinating multiple contractors and subcontractors simultaneously on a single site.
  • Education:

    • A Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Technical Acumen:

      You possess the ability to expertly read, interpret, and verify complex technical drawings, BOQs, and method statements. You understand the intricacies of different MEP systems and can spot discrepancies before they become problems.
    • Leadership & Communication:

      You are a confident leader who can motivate on-site teams, mediate conflicts between contractors, and communicate project status clearly and concisely to off-site management.
    • Problem-Solving & Initiative:

      You are a proactive thinker who can anticipate bottlenecks, think on your feet to resolve unexpected issues, and make sound decisions under pressure to keep the project moving forward.
    • Organizational Rigor:

      You are highly organized, capable of maintaining meticulous site records, managing material inventory, and tracking progress against a tight schedule.
