As a Construction Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects and ensuring the safety and success of each endeavor. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining project administration in a correct and timely manner. - Ordering materials and equipment, as well as taking care of the necessary permits. - Accomplishing construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees. - Assessing safety and finance goals to ensure project success. - Managing sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors. - Meeting operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews. - Monitoring project expenditures to meet construction budget. - Defining project purpose and scope to accomplish construction project results. - Conducting inspections at critical phases to approve construction projects. - Ensuring compliance with codes to prevent fines and work interruptions. - Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings. - Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines. - Great time management and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 2 years of experience working in the construction field. - A valid driver's license from the state of residence is required.
