Site Supervisor (Civil)

As a Construction Supervisor, your role involves maintaining project administration in a correct and timely manner. You are responsible for ordering materials and equipment, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring safety on the construction site is a top priority. Your key responsibilities include: - Selecting, orienting, and training employees to achieve construction human resource objectives - Assessing safety and finance goals to meet operational standards - Managing sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors - Contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews to meet construction budget - Defining project purpose and scope to accomplish construction project results - Conducting inspections at critical phases to approve construction projects - Ensuring compliance with codes to prevent fines and work interruptions - Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines and procedures To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings - Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines - Great time management and problem-solving skills You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience working in the construction field. A valid driver's license from the state of residence is also required. This is a full-time position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, provided food, health insurance, and paid time off. The schedule is on the day shift, with additional bonuses for performance, quarterly, and yearly achievements. If you have a diploma and at least 1 year of total work experience, it would be preferred. Day shift availability and a willingness to travel up to 25% are also preferred.
