Job Description

Purchase Local Material from market
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against delivery challans/POs.
Ensure proper storage to avoid deterioration, contamination, or safety hazards (e.g., cement in dry storage, steel on sleepers, chemicals in ventilated area).

Maintain accurate stock registers (manual/electronic) for all materials.
Track consumption vs. work progress; highlight abnormal wastage to project manager.
Conduct periodic stock reconciliation with accounts/procurement.
Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) for cement, paints, chemicals, etc.
Issue materials only against authorized requisitions from supervisors/engineers.
Keep record of daily issues for cost tracking and back-charging subcontractors where applicable.
Maintain log for returnable tools/shuttering materials to avoid loss.
Coordinate with procurement for timely material replenishment.
Provide consumption reports to planning/QS team for billing and cost control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,229.07 - ₹25,000.00 per month
