Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for Site Reliability Engineers to join our team who are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions. As part of our SRE team, you will be responsible for creating scalable monitoring solutions for live trading infrastructures, constructing command frameworks, and generating actionable alerts for our on-call operations team. Your role will also involve providing proactive support by responding to alerts, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the continuous availability of our trading platforms. In this role, you will: - Code, script, and automate using Python and Go Lang - Implement new product features, enhance existing functionality, and monitor performance characteristics - Develop tools to streamline operational workflows and reduce errors - Troubleshoot and resolve trading system issues spanning software, hardware, and network components - Participate in design discussions, review sessions, and prototyping activities - Ensure scalability and code quality - Assist with product documentation, unit testing, and monitoring to maintain overall product quality - Collaborate with application teams to implement proper monitoring and tools before applications go live To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Minimum AWS Certification (Associate Level) - Minimum RedHat Certification (RHCSA or higher) - At least 3 years of experience with Python - Familiarity with Terraform - Experience with Ruby and Golang is a plus - Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Grafana or ELK is advantageous - Ability to write Chef Manifests - Understanding of network protocols, load balancing, and HA Proxy - Proficiency in functional programming, object-oriented programming, and computer science fundamentals - Strong understanding of low-latency backend and server-side components - Excellent communication skills - Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies In return, we offer: - Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage - 30 days of PTO, sick days, and paid holidays - Parental and Adoption leave - Stipends and subsidy contributions for personal cell phones, laptops, gym memberships, and health/wellness initiatives - Forward-thinking, collaborative culture that promotes diversity and inclusion Trading Technologies is a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology platform provider in the global capital markets industry.
