Job Description

The Site Manager will be responsible for the daily on-site management of construction activities involving Deco Drama's range of niche building materials. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, meticulous attention to material specifications, and excellent coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site Coordination:

    • Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is completed according to design, specifications, and project timelines.
    • Coordinate the delivery, inspection, and proper storage/handling of Deco Dramas niche materials (e.g., wooden flooring, designer claddings, specialty finishes, etc.).
  • Material Handling Expertise:

    • Ensure materials are used as per installation guidelines and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
    • Train site staff and subcontractors on proper handling and installation of Deco Dramas materials.
  • Quality Control:

    • Monitor workmanship and ensure high-quality finishes are achieved with Deco Drama materials.
    • Identify and resolve site issues quickly, particularly related to material compatibility, installation methods, or finish quality.
  • Team & Contractor Supervision:

    • Supervise labourers, subcontractors, and tradespeople on site.
    • Enforce site safety procedures and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Project Reporting & Communication:

    • Report progress to the Project Manager regularly with updates on timelines, issues, and materials usage.
    • Maintain daily site diaries, logs, and photo documentation of key stages.
  • Problem Solving & Coordination:

    • Act as the on-site point of contact between the design team, contractors, and Deco Dramas technical support team for product-related queries or installation issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of site management or construction supervision experience, preferably with high-end materials or interior finishes.
    • Experience working with decorative and specialty building materials is a strong advantage.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with architectural drawings and material specifications.
    • Strong understanding of handling and installation requirements for delicate or high-value materials.
    • Good communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction site protocols.
  • Qualifications:

    • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Health and Safety certification is preferred.

  • Fast-paced environments with high expectations on finish and precision.

Preferable candidate : Male / having 2+ years experience as a project manager in building interiors
