Job Title: Site Incharge / Site Supervisor / Foreman / Assistant Site Manager Department: Projects / Operations / Construction / [Specify your industry, e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical] Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Engineer / Project Manager / Construction Manager Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India (This is a full-time, site-based role , requiring constant presence and supervision at project sites within Pune and potentially surrounding areas as assigned). Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and diligent Site Incharge to lead and supervise daily on-site operations for our projects in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of work as per plans, managing the workforce, ensuring quality standards, maintaining site discipline, and strictly adhering to safety protocols. This role is crucial for efficient site management and timely project completion. Key Responsibilities: Daily Site Supervision: Directly supervise and manage the day-to-day work activities of on-site labor (skilled and unskilled) and subcontractors. Ensure that work is carried out strictly according to engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Site Engineer/Project Manager. Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress against the work schedule. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on materials and workmanship at various stages of the project. Ensure that construction/installation activities meet specified quality standards and codes. Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities to the Site Engineer immediately. Safety & Discipline: Enforce strict adherence to all site safety regulations, company safety policies, and best practices. Conduct daily toolbox talks or safety briefings with the workforce. Identify potential hazards and take immediate corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain discipline and harmony among the site workforce. Material & Resource Management: Oversee the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials on site, minimizing wastage. Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials. Problem Solving & Coordination: Address minor on-site technical issues and operational challenges promptly. Liaise effectively with the Site Engineer, other technical staff, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow. Report critical issues, potential delays, or major deviations to the Site Engineer/Project Manager. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site records, including labor attendance, work progress, material consumption, and equipment usage. Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
