Site Incharge

Job Purpose

The Site In-Charge will oversee all construction-related activities for solar power projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion. The role involves managing a team, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. The Site In-Charge will also plan projects, anticipate and resolve issues, and communicate effectively with management and clients.

Job Duties

• Oversee the execution of ground-mounted solar power projects, ensuring all activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• Handle all construction-related activities and manage the site team and contractors.
• Ensure the timely completion of projects, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement project plans, anticipating potential problems and proactively addressing them.
• Conduct weekly review meetings, prepare daily progress reports (DPR), and communicate project updates to higher management.
• Coordinate with clients and management, regularly updating project progress and addressing concerns.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site, leveraging extensive knowledge of solar power systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new construction techniques and technologies.
• The candidate should be willing to work on-site and travel as required for project needs.
• The ability to absorb complex information and simplify if needed.
