Job Description

Role & responsibilities

-Site Engineer/Supervise plan & supervise site railway construction, maintenance, and repair activities.- Ensure compliance with safety standards, railway regulations, and company procedures.- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers to execute scheduled tasks.- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required at the site.- Conduct site inspections, check work quality, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.- Prepare daily progress reports and update project managers on work status.- Resolve on-site issues, delays, or hazards promptly.- Ensure proper installation of railway components like tracks, sleepers, and signaling equipment (as applicable).- Train and guide workers on safety protocols and work processes.- Maintain documentation related to site activities, attendance, and material usage.

Skills & Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of railway safety standards and on-site practices.- Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.- Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Willingness to work at project sites and in shifts as required.
