Site Engineer - FAS, CCTV, PA SYSTEM

Job title: Site Engineer

Reporting to: Project Engineer/ Sr. Project Engineer/ Dy. Manager- Projects / Dy. General Manager- Projects.

Key responsibilities & duties

• Should have knowledge of Fire Alarm, Public Address, CCTV, Access Control System
• Commissioning of above systems
• Complete the engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
• Organizing the timely requisitions of Approved GFC drawings at site for execution
• Organizing the timely requisitions of materials required for project
• Controlling the stock availability & usage with proper cutting plans in co-ordination with supervisors to minimize wastages.
• Ensure using correct materials as per approved specification & drawings
• Develop project objectives by reviewing project plans
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to the phases and elements
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems at site.
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling the changes or schedule modification and recommending necessary actions
• Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts agreement.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends recommending actions.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Get daily update from Site supervisors on daily basis and report the same to Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer / Managers/ DGM.
