Site Engineer Drainage Structures

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with experience in drainage systems. You will support infrastructure, civil, and utility projects by designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of drainage components such as culverts, manholes, retaining walls, and related substructures. Your responsibilities will include designing structural elements of drainage systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, performing structural analysis using software, collaborating with various teams on integrated designs, preparing design calculations and technical reports, providing on-site support during construction, identifying risks and suggesting improvements, reviewing contractor submittals, and providing input during feasibility studies and value engineering exercises. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters preferred), a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent, at least 4 years of experience in structural design for drainage or utility infrastructure, strong knowledge of hydrology and stormwater principles, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software, and familiarity with drainage design standards and practices.
