Job Description

AECOMs Transportation Division is actively seeking a

Site Engineer-Depot & Machineries

for immediate employment at the Surat project site office. The selected candidate will work closely with the senior management team of AECOM India at the Surat project, contributing to a diverse range of depot, workshop, or metro systems-related assignments.

Job Duties:

Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Execute detailed or routine engineering tasks including calculations and simple tests.
Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
Identify and address discrepancies in test results and data outputs.
Propose approaches to resolve new challenges encountered during project execution.
Provide guidance to entry-level engineers to ensure quality and consistency in tasks.
Work in accordance with the agreed-upon project budget and schedule, maintaining a focus on timely delivery.
Collaborate with team members and senior management to address project-specific requirements with moderate supervision.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a relevant engineering discipline.

A minimum of 6 years of total experience is required.
At least 2 years of direct experience in metro rail, depot, railway, or infrastructure projects.
Experience with depot/workshop machinery or metro systems is highly preferred; relevant metro or railway project experience is a significant advantage.
