Site Engineer Civil - Male

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities at the project site. Your role will involve coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to ensure work is completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and within the given timeline. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to handle: - Site Supervision & Execution: - Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications. - Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks. - Strictly follow safety regulations and quality control standards. - Conduct site inspections and address any technical issues that may arise. - Coordination & Communication: - Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. - Maintain effective communication with the workforce, suppliers, and clients. - Organize site meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges. - Quality & Safety Compliance: - Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and standards. - Conduct quality control checks and inspections at various construction stages. - Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents. - Planning & Documentation: - Prepare and maintain site reports, progress reports, and work schedules. - Document material usage, labor costs, and project expenses. - Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, quantity take-offs, and other necessary reports. - Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: - Identify and resolve on-site technical problems and challenges. - Provide timely solutions to minimize project delays and cost overruns. In order to excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. - Experience: 4-5 years of site engineering experience in a civil contracting firm (Freshers with internships can be considered). - Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction methods, structural drawings, and civil engineering software (AutoCAD). - Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additionally, you must be willing to travel to project sites and work in challenging conditions. It is also required that you have a Two Wheeler and a Smart phone. This is a full-time position located in Kozhikode, Kerala.
