Site Engineer

Position: Site Engineer – Epoxy & PU Flooring (Construction Chemicals)

Location: Udyog vihar sec 19, Opposite cyber city metro station

Department: Project Execution / Construction Chemicals Division

Role Objective

To execute and supervise Epoxy & PU flooring works at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion as per client requirements and standards of construction chemical applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Plan and supervise application of Epoxy and PU flooring systems.

• Ensure surface preparation (grinding, shot blasting, moisture testing) is done correctly before application.

• Monitor mixing ratios, curing times, and thickness as per manufacturer guidelines.

2. Quality Assurance

• Conduct on-site quality checks to prevent issues like delamination, bubbling, or uneven finish.

• Maintain records of material consumption, coverage, and inspection reports.

• Coordinate with QA/QC team for testing and approvals.

3. Labour & Resource Management

• Handle application teams/labour and ensure proper use of equipment.

• Ensure optimum utilization of materials, tools, and manpower to avoid wastage.

4. Client & Coordination

• Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors regarding flooring requirements.

• Provide technical inputs for choosing between Epoxy vs. PU flooring based on project needs.

• Ensure timely project completion within budget.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe handling of construction chemicals at site.

• Follow site safety protocols for chemical mixing and application.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of construction chemicals (Epoxy, PU, Waterproofing, Grouts, Sealants).

• Knowledge of flooring system applications and their relevance in industries like pharma, food, warehouses, and manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings & technical data sheets (TDS).

• Good communication, labour handling, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with site testing methods (Moisture content, Pull-off test, Thickness gauge).

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. – Civil Engineering or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
