Site Construction Engineer, PEB

As a Site Construction Engineer for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) at Hitachi Energy, your role involves coordinating and inspecting PEB construction works in alignment with project delivery schedules and quality standards. You will report to the Civil Construction Manager and collaborate with the Site Management team as part of a Third Party Contract Role. Your Responsibilities: - Support engineering works related to PEB by providing construction perspective, lessons learned, and best practices - Review PEB ITPs, ITRs, and technical submissions from sub-contractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications - Coordinate on-site PEB construction activities to ensure cost-effective execution in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements - Assist the Civil Construction Manager in creating detailed working plans with subcontractors, local resources, equipment, suppliers, and milestones - Maintain and update all documentation related to the PEB scope for construction work on site - Monitor and inspect PEB construction activities to ensure quality standards and specifications are met - Lead or participate in site meetings related to the PEB scope with Customer, sub-contractors, and Hitachi Energy site personnel - Prepare and coordinate PEB related red marked drawings with subcontractors and engineering Your Background: - Bachelor's or MSc. degree in Mechanical engineering or related field - Minimum of 5 years" work experience in the area of expertise - Experience in industrial projects, with a preference for the energy sector - Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English - Ability to work on site and in an international, multicultural work environment - Strong organizational skills, persistence, and teamwork mindset - Flexibility and open-mindedness are essential for success in this role,
