Job Description

Role Overview:

The Simulation Engineer will strengthen the company's analytical and validation capabilities for tattoo and micro needling devices.

The focus of this position is to use simulations to identify potential critical areas early in the development process, provide guidance on where and how physical testing should be prioritized, and thereby support efficient and targeted validation.

The role combines analytical expertise with a practical understanding of product behavior and manufacturing.

Working closely with R&D and production, the Simulation Engineer ensures that simulations provide early insights, help prevent unnecessary iterations, and serve as a strategic tool to complement and guide physical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute simulation workflows for structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses.

Utilize and enhance CAE tools such as Ansys and SolidWorks Simulation.

Perform FEA simulations to evaluate strength, deformation, and vibration behavior under realistic conditions.

Define and validate boundary conditions, load cases, and material parameters in cooperation with R&D and production.

Use simulation findings to identify potential design risks and recommend relevant test cases or test focus areas.

Support targeted testing strategies by highlighting critical aspects that require ex- perimental validation.

Analyze motor dynamics, vibration response, and drive-train behavior to ensure performance and durability.

Prepare clear, structured technical reports with visualized results, key findings, and practical recommendations.

Present results effectively and propose next steps or design improvements based on analysis outcomes.

Conduct training and coaching sessions to strengthen simulation know-how within the engineering team.

Support the implementation and integration of new simulation tools and methods.

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

3+ years of experience in structural mechanics (CAE/FEA)

Proficient in SolidWorks Simulation and Ansys

Understanding of vibration, materials, and drive-train mechanics

Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Attributes:
